These are the main ways that you can be involved – and you don’t even have to have kids to be included. . . Become A Host Family – we are looking for 650 Jewish households to “house” visiting athletes Volunteer – over 1,000 volunteers will be needed to assist in many different aspects of the week which include: athletics, arrivals, food, transportation, social events, medical, facility management, and coaching Complete as an Athlete – Team Phoenix will be represented by more than 250 Jewish, local teens ages 12-16. they will compete in the following sports: baseball, golf, track & field, volleyball, basketball, tennis, bowling, dance, flag football, soccer, softball, swimming, racquetball, & table tennis Partnership Opportunities – We invite you to build a bond with the JCC Maccabi Games® community and the Greater Phoenix community. Become a Star Reporter – local Jewish teens ages 12-16 will help report on the entire JCC Maccabi Games of Greater Phoenix from the pre-Games planning to the Closing party.
